The Cristallo takes its name from Monte Cristallo in the Dolomites, north-east of Cortina. It is warm, moisture-wicking and skin-friendly - making it perfect for intense days in the mountains. The hybrid fabric made from merino wool and polyamide quickly wicks moisture away from the body, prevents odour build-up and dries quickly. This makes the Cristallo men's shirt the ideal winter baselayer for demanding activities on cold days.

AlpineWool® Responsive
The Cristallo is based on an Alpine Merino Responsive blended fabric consisting of 78% merino wool and 22% polyamide. The wool is spun around the nylon core to make the fabric stronger and more durable. In addition, a special blend of thermoreactive minerals is infused into the synthetic fibres using our proprietary Responsive technology. Responsive recycles the body's infrared energy (FIR) and gradually releases it again. This makes you more resilient and enduring, you recover faster and you stay warm for longer. These benefits are retained throughout the life of the fabric, as Responsive is an integral part of the fibre and does not wash out. Responsive technology and its effectiveness have been tested and confirmed both in the laboratory and by alpinists.

Innovative design
The Cristallo men's baselayer has a body-hugging fit with a round neckline and a sleeve design with an integrated gusset for greater freedom of movement. The high polyamide content further improves the durability and stretch properties of the long-sleeved shirt. Our innovative knitting process reinforces the natural properties of the wool fibres and enables the production of a seamless body piece. This makes it extremely comfortable to wear and prevents chafing.
