The Cristallo takes its name from Monte Cristallo in the Dolomites, northeast of Cortina. It's warm, moisture-wicking and skin-friendly - making it perfect for intense days in the mountains. The hybrid fabric of merino wool and polyamide quickly wicks moisture away from the body, prevents odor buildup and dries quickly. This makes the Cristallo men's shirt the ideal winter baselayer for demanding activities on cold days.

AlpineWool® Responsive
The Cristallo is based on an Alpine Merino Responsive blended fabric, which consists of 78% merino wool and 22% polyamide. The wool is spun around the nylon core to make the fabric stronger and more durable. In addition, using our proprietary Responsive technology, a special blend of thermoreactive minerals is infused into the synthetic fibers. Responsive recycles the body's infrared energy (FIR) and gradually releases it back. As a result, you're more resilient and enduring, recover faster, and stay warmer longer. These benefits last throughout the life of the fabric because Responsive is an integral part of the fiber and does not wash out. Responsive technology and its effectiveness has been tested and confirmed both in the laboratory and by alpinists.

Innovative design
The Cristallo men's baselayer has a body-hugging fit with a crew neck and a sleeve design with an integrated gusset for greater freedom of movement. The high polyamide content further improves the durability and stretch properties of the long sleeve shirt. Our innovative knitting process enhances the natural properties of the wool fibers and allows us to create a seamless torso piece. This makes it extremely comfortable to wear and does not chafe.
