Stiftung Warentest has tested baby monitors - classic models, webcams and baby monitor apps. Only 5 out of 20 performed well. Among the test candidates are well-known brands such as Philips Avent and Angelcare. The prices range from 40 to 210 euros. In the baby monitor test, parents find out which models they can rely on, which ones offer a long range and whether webcam videos can be easily hacked. Pleasing: electrosmog is not a problem.
