The special hybrid construction combines the comfort of a softshell with the protection of a hardshell jacket in exposed areas such as the front and shoulders. The jacket is designed according to the body mapping principle, so that different parts of the body can be supplied with exactly the right material. At the back and on the arms, the Durastretch softshell main material with 22 per cent fine merino wool ensures high breathability and ideal moisture transport. On the front and shoulders, on the other hand, our lightweight, windproof and waterproof three-layer Powertex material is used, which reliably protects against adverse conditions.

The softshell jacket is the ideal companion for all winter ventures in the backcountry with features like the Direct Access chest pocket, which gives quick access to the avalanche transceiver or layers underneath with an innovative zip system with double slider. The zips are waterproof, the cuffs can be adjusted via the Velcro fastening and close neatly over the gloves. Both materials are also equipped with a durable water-repellent, PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation.
