The new design also incorporates "smart" insulation. The zoned micro and nano chambers keep the down securely in place, preventing it from shifting and providing better warmth without additional weight, bulk, or restricted mobility. The vest is suitable for everyday wear as well as part of a layering system in the mountains and is complemented by a weather-resistant DWR coating, two large, harness-compatible zippered hand pockets, a warm, down-filled collar, and a hem with a drawcord. The new Microlight Women's Vest combines fantastically low weight, top warmth, and good freedom of movement, making it easy to throw on when it gets colder.
