The massive, bizarre towers of the Pala Group rise from the stony plateau. Climbing here, on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites, requires strong nerves and strong material. We have designed our Merino Shield Tec line precisely for such long, alpine routes.

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the Pala Hooded Jacket for women passes more than 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which measures abrasion resistance. In particularly stressed areas such as shoulders, forearms and hips, additional inserts provide maximum protection against rugged rock. The 4-way stretch material gives full freedom of movement, which is supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbow areas. Due to its membrane-free construction, the Pala Hooded Jacket for women is particularly breathable, fine merino wool inside provides an additional comfortable feel.

The self-adjusting hood fits under a climbing helmet and the cuffs and hem are elastic and comfortable. Thanks to High-Reach-Performance Fit, the Pala Hooded Jacket for women adapts to every movement and is completely focused on climbing. In the chest pocket as well as in the two harness and backpack optimized front pockets find their place small things that should be quickly at hand on a long climbing day.

For the sake of the environment, the entire Merino Shield Tec line is also completely PFC-free and climate neutral with CO2 compensation. With a fresh look, the Pala Hooded Jacket for women is thus ready for big climbing lines on high rock faces.
