Helikon Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig

So far, mankind has invented three remarkable ways to carry the essentials in the field: on the back, over the shoulder or around the hips. The rucksack can be used to carry the heaviest loads, the shoulder bag allows quicker access to the contents, while the bum bag combines both.

For long hikes on uneven terrain, wearing it on your belt is the smartest solution. It does not interfere with the body's heat regulation, distributes the load evenly and is easy on the spine, and all items can be reached quickly.

The Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig can be worn as a standalone item or with functional braces. The construction is easily adjustable in all areas. The Foxtrot consists of the main compartment with open top, sewn-in water bottle pockets, a partial belt on the sides with MOLLE / PALS attachment points for modular pouches (medical kit, knife pouch, transport pouch, etc.). ALICE and other 50mm webbing based pouches can be attached. The main compartment consists of two zip pockets and a pocket on the front that can be closed with Velcro. Additional inserts compatible with the Versatile Insert System can be attached to the main compartment.

A rolled-up poncho or a thin seat mat can be attached under the elasticated band at the top of the bag & or under the compression straps at the bottom. The braces are easily adjustable with a Velcro fastener on the back, they stabilise the load and distribute it over the wearer's entire body.
