The Flamingos Life label was founded in 2015. Its aim is to minimise its ecological footprint as much as possible. Flamingos Life trainers are manufactured in small factories in Spain, within a 40km radius of Elche, as well as a few models in Portugal. A lot of effort has been put into developing sustainable and resource-saving materials.
The upper of the Burela Bold trainers is made from corn waste. Corn waste from the maize harvest is used for the corn waste. This is a sustainable alternative to the use of leather. The material used by Flamingos Life comes very close to the look and feel of leather, but is 100% vegan. The removable insole made from recycled materials, which is covered with bamboo and cotton, gives you the best wearing comfort all day long. The outsole is made from natural rubber.
