Proclear Multifocal Toric

Proclear Multifocal Toric by CooperVision are soft monthly contact lenses made from Omafilcon A, with a water content of 59%. They are designed to simultaneously correct astigmatism (irregular curvature of the cornea) and presbyopia (age-related vision loss). While astigmatism can occur at any age, presbyopia is caused by the decreasing flexibility of the eye's lens and typically becomes noticeable around the age of 40 to 50. Individuals suffering from both forms of refractive error experience blurred vision both at distance and near. The Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses provide clear vision at all distances, contributing to a comfortable daily life.

High correction values: With the XR series, CooperVision expands the available correction range, allowing even people with significant refractive errors to benefit from the Proclear product line.

Excellent wearing comfort: The Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses contain the biomimetic substance phosphorylcholine, which is biocompatible and commonly used in medicine. Due to the special properties of this biocompatible material, the lenses are very well tolerated and do not create a feeling of foreignness. A special manufacturing process binds water molecules to the lens material, creating a natural resistance to drying out. As a result, the contact lenses are comfortable to wear and remain moist even during extended wear.

Dirt resistant and easy to handle: Proclear Multifocal Toric can be worn during the day and are easy to clean, as dirt particles and proteins hardly adhere to the non-ionic lens surface. The monthly lenses need to be replaced only every 30 days.
