Minimisation of movement in the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb: The elasticated strap reduces mobility in the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb, which is particularly helpful in the event of injury or overuse.
Optional immobilisation with aluminium stabiliser: For additional stability, an aluminium stabiliser can be used to immobilise the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb and thus provide targeted support.
