Topleem Clay paint

Solvent-free, permanently elastic wall and ceiling paint with a fine texture for interior use, washable according to EN 13 300

Clay colour is breathable and moisture-regulating. In this way it contributes to a healthy room climate. It has an antistatic effect, covers wet areas and can be applied almost drip and splash-free. Due to its very high solids content, the paint has very good filling and covering properties.

Application areas
For covering and filling coatings on dry, absorbent, grease-free surfaces such as wallpaper, plaster and common mineral surfaces as well as solid old coatings and wood.

Dry season:
Overpaintable after 6 - 12 hours depending on room temperature and humidity. Final through-drying after approx. 10 days.

Reach
Approx. 0.10 - 0.17 litres per m²; approx. 6 -8 m² per litre.

Preparation
Water-soluble old coatings such as glue or lime coatings must be removed thoroughly. Brush off non-sticky paint residues or similar. Mechanically roughen very smooth and less absorbent surfaces. Processing
The paint is applied with a roller or brush evenly thin and vigorously. The paint should be spread evenly in all directions. On light-coloured surfaces one coat is usually sufficient. On highly absorbent surfaces (clay plaster, sand-lime brick, etc.) we recommend priming with diluted paint (max. 10% water). After drying, the final coat is applied undiluted. The individual layers of paint must be dry before each further coat of paint! Note: Loam paint is a natural product which may show slight colour variations from batch to batch. Care must therefore be taken to ensure batch-to-batch consistency during application. If necessary, buckets from different batches should be mixed together.
