Typical applications for the 0.5 mm² single wire include control cabinet construction, device and apparatus manufacturing, electric motor industry, sauna and solarium construction, lighting technology, fan manufacturing, air conditioning technology, oven construction, plastic processing, as well as generator and transformer manufacturing. The cold-resistant silicone cable consists of a finely stranded, tinned copper conductor with a silicone-based insulation sheath. The single wire is also suitable for use with heating elements. Since the mechanical properties of finely stranded wires decrease above +100°C in the absence of air, adequate ventilation must be ensured.
