The VPD System Torso is a chest and back protector focused on high wearing comfort, good ventilation, and protection level. Thanks to its unique design and the materials used, the Torso is a minimalist protector that never hinders the wearer. However, in the event of a fall, it deploys its protective capabilities with Level 1 thanks to its 3D-formed VPD material. VPD is highly shock-absorbing, comfortable, and adapts to the body. To create a custom fit and due to its high level of protection, as well as its ability to transition from soft to hard upon impact, you don’t have to choose between safety and flexibility. Many protectors are lightweight but may not be optimal for shock absorption. Some can absorb a shock with good cushioning, but a second impact on the protector transmits a much higher amount of energy to the user, with a third impact transmitting even more, and so on. VPD material maintains the same high absorption rate, which is an important characteristic for Poc, as they believe that a protector must withstand multiple impacts during a fall and throughout its lifespan.
