Product details
ODI AG1 – Probably the fastest grip on the market: Two-time downhill World Cup overall champion Aaron Gwin played a crucial role in the development of the grippy AG1 over the years. The signature AG1 has roughly the same diameter as the classic Ruffian but comes with some exciting innovations: Since Gwin, like many other riders, holds the grip at the very end, the outer clamp has been omitted. Instead, an aluminum end cap is used, covered by a robust plastic sleeve integrated into the grip, which supports the hand and reliably protects the handlebar end from hard impacts. Riders who grip the handlebar closer in have also been considered: the clamp ring is nicely rounded and smoothly integrated into the inner end of the grip, making it very comfortable to hold. But that's not all: the four raised strips distributed around the grip, made from a slightly harder compound, are tailored to the finger joints and provide extra grip, while the soft and complex diamond pattern enhances control in all weather conditions. The AG1 grip demonstrated this impressively during the current downhill season with Aaron Gwin's World Cup opening victory in South Africa. And it weighs just 88 grams per pair.
