The side pockets with snap closures securely store items like tissues or small objects. The elastic waistband allows for all movements and does not restrict play. The pants fit perfectly and are very comfortable, even without suspenders. The foot stirrup and elastic leg cuffs prevent the rain pants from riding up while running and jumping.
