La Sportiva TX Guide Women

The TX Guide Women is the most technical shoe in the TX series from La Sportiva. This shoe was developed for technical approaches, mountaineering and via ferrata, i.e. for activities in demanding terrain that require high-performance and durable footwear. This approach shoe is versatile, very light, offers protection and excellent grip. La Sportiva achieves this combination of features on the one hand through a lightweight synthetic upper and on the other hand through a strongly profiled outsole with a high scree protection edge. Visually striking is the split sole, which actually consists of two different Vibram® rubber compounds: Vibram® MegaGrip and Idrogrip are the perfect combination of grip and durability. The treadless Climbing Zone in the front area allows for optimal grip on edges when scrambling. Speaking of support, the foot naturally also wants to be well secured, which is ensured in the TX Guide by the lacing that extends far forward and the well-hugging Tech-Fit fit. The tongue construction is inspired by running shoes and avoids the penetration of objects with the tight but softly edged closure. And despite all the desired firmness, the foot in the TX Guide gets the necessary springiness from the soft Ortholite insole and the EVA cushioning wedge that lets you tackle long runs.
