MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) consists of a movable shell inside the helmet that follows the head's movement (10-15 mm) and dampens any rotational energy that may occur during falls to protect the brain. The Roc Loc Sport Fit System offers easy one-handed operation with a 7 cm adjustment range. With comfort similar to the Roc Loc 5 and ponytail compatibility, the Roc Loc Sport Fit System brings premium functionality to the level of sport helmets.

In In-Mold construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell during the foaming process in one step. This makes the helmet even more resilient without adding extra weight. This production process also allows for significantly better ventilation systems and vents to be shaped. In-Mold helmets are lighter compared to traditional helmets and have significantly better ventilation systems. Giro's Universal Fit family helmets fit most people right from the first try-on.
