T-shirt made from 89% merino wool for trekking tours with light luggage. Quick-drying due to the material weight (160 g/m²). Mesh inserts made of merino wool under the arms and on the back for targeted breathability. For increased durability, the wool fibers are surrounded by a polyamide thread. We use merino wool from South African farms that do not practice mulesing. To ensure that the sheep from which the wool for our products comes are kept and sheared in a humane manner, we have partnered with the breeding association Consortium Merino. This allows for traceability of the wool's origin. When sweating during strenuous activities, merino wool traps warm, insulating air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without making the body feel damp: providing comfortable wear in cool weather. In warm, dry weather, the water in the wool absorbs energy, slightly cooling the body. Utilization of the Beta-Spun thread structure, where fine polyamide threads are wrapped around merino wool threads, protecting them from friction and tears without affecting the technical properties. Due to its high absorbency, wool is particularly odor-resistant. Merino wool not only absorbs body moisture but also absorbs and eliminates unpleasant sweat odors. Therefore, a merino wool t-shirt can be worn for several days in a row without issue, allowing you to carry less luggage while trekking! We recommend washing this merino shirt at 30°C on a normal cycle in the washing machine, preferably using liquid detergent. Do not put it in the dryer, as the product will shrink significantly! To ensure it is pleasantly soft from the start, you can wash the t-shirt before its first use.
