Questions about Trixie Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box

Good, fast clumping cat litter is essential. I have tried quite a few, nothing comes close to the Everclean. It is important that as much moisture as possible is absorbed quickly (in 1 minute), otherwise everything will be smeared. Then it is clear that it will start to smell. In addition, change the bag once a day and clean the toilet with wet wipes. That way it won't smell too bad in your house either. For your information, I have 2 cats that use the toilet.

No remote control (bin not connected). Any type of bag possible (17 lt bin, freezer, or other compatible format). Simple litter tray, but does the job. The cat goes in, does its business and comes out. 1 minute later, the litter turns over and the faeces are sent to a closed compartment. Reduced odours, less sand used, always clean litter, my cats love it! Warning: clumping litter (rather fine) only. Not suitable for kittens and small cats. And there's no way of delaying cleaning (diarrhoea or heavy urination). On the other hand, it's very easy to clean (using a spray and cleaning paper) and once a month with plenty of water (the drum can be rinsed out completely). I don't regret the investment.

The self-rotating litter tray from Trixie is too small for an adult Maine Coon cat.
