If you connect both Joy-Con to the Joy-Con grip, you can use them like a traditional controller. Without the grip, you can use both independently as two separate controllers.

The HD Rumble is so realistic that you can tell how many ice cubes there are – as if you were actually holding the glass in your hand.

Feel shape, motion, and distance: The Joy-Con's infrared motion camera detects shapes, movements, and the distance of objects that it sees. For example, it can recognize whether a hand is showing scissors, rock, or paper. The infrared motion camera also enables entirely new experiences like Nintendo Labo.
