Product details
TrackIR is a head-tracking input device designed for use in PC games and simulations. It is an infrared camera that tracks the position and orientation of your head and sends this data to one of over 100 TrackIR Enhanced games and simulations. With the ability to focus on 1/150th of a pixel, TrackIR offers the most precise head-tracking solution on the market.
The TrackClip (VectorClip) attaches to the brim of a cap or visor and features three retro-reflective markers that direct infrared light back to the camera (included with every TrackIR 5).
6 Degrees of Freedom - TrackIR tracks all six directions in which a player's head can move in 3D space, with each direction on a separate axis, ensuring that actual movements are accurately linked to the view in the game.
Designed for Gamers - With the advanced settings in the software, you can customize each axis individually to adjust sensitivity and speed to your needs. Alternatively, use one of the pre-configured profiles to get started right away. TrackIR gives you control over the experience, allowing you to fully leverage the game's potential.
Fully Adjustable - A magnetically mounted base allows for easy and secure setup, even with adjustable legs that can be tailored to any monitor.
TrackIR in Microsoft Flight Simulator X and 2004 - With TrackIR, you have the ability to control the pilot's line of sight in the virtual cockpit. Whether you are taxiing on the runway or in the final approach, a slight movement of your head provides a realistic field of view of the world outside your cockpit. Navigation, especially during VFR flights, as well as the turn into the final approach, becomes significantly easier and more realistic with this device.
