With GF lenses, photographers can achieve the highest level of image quality and express their creativity like never before. They have been specially developed for the large image sensor of the GFX medium format system, which is 1.7 times larger than a 35mm sensor (full format sensor). The optics guarantee a very high resolution performance and excellent colour rendering. The results are images that capture the special atmosphere at the moment of release in almost three-dimensional images.

The GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR offers an extremely high resolution and a very nice bokeh. The weatherproof lens tube is sealed against splash water and dust and is reliable in professional use, even in adverse weather conditions and at temperatures down to minus ten degrees Celsius. By using the 1.4x teleconverter "GF1.4X TC WR" the focal length can be extended to approx. 111-221 mm (equivalent to KB) without affecting the image quality.

The lens is equipped with a powerful image stabilization system that allows up to 5 EV levels longer exposure time according to CIPA guidelines. This allows the photographer to take advantage of the GFX sensor's maximum sharpness, even when shooting from the hand in medium format, which is particularly susceptible to blurred camera shake.

The autofocus is driven by a silent, high-precision and fast linear motor. The lens also has a new mechanism that allows the position of the linear motor to be fixed when it is switched off or during playback to avoid additional vibration.

The new GF lens is optimally designed for the tough demands of everyday professional use and can be used without hesitation even in bad weather. The robust tube is weatherproofed at ten points, making the GF45mmF2.8 insensitive to splash water and dust.
