Which deodorant is best?

When your go-to deodorant suddenly stops working, you need a new one pronto. Having recently experienced this very issue, I’ve found a product that’s ended my search for a trusty antiperspirant. For now.
When I asked ChatGPT (just for the fun of it) if there was a word to describe a once-reliable deodorant ceasing to work, I wasn’t actually expecting an answer: deodorant fatigue. Apparently, there’s a name for every phenomenon under the sun. As for why deodorant fatigue occurs, my post-ChatGTP research unearthed a variety of reasons. Changes in bacterial flora and hormonal fluctuations could both explain why I need to change my deodorant regularly. This time, however, if the latest beauty gossip is to be believed, it’s because my favourite deodorant’s formula has been changed. Not cool.
Needless to say, I’ve spent the last few weeks begging my mates for deodorant recommendations. And my efforts haven’t been in vain. The Dry Comfort antiperspirant came out the winner, and is still fighting my corner in the daily battle against sweaty pits.

The packaging? Utterly unsexy. However, given that I don’t fancy spending the day sweating and smelling gross, I’m willing to turn a blind eye to that. The people around me are bound to be grateful for that trusty stick. I’ve never taken the deodorant’s 48 perspiration-free hours as read, but I do put them to the test around my new boyfriend. The deodorant also treats the skin on my armpits with care, and smells heavenly with that typical Nivea fragrance. As for white marks, these only appear if you rub black fabric over the deodorised skin. The rest of the time, the Dry Comfort’s invisible.
Just as I’m typing the last lines of this article into my computer («Now I’m enjoying the protection – while it lasts»), I find out that Nivea’s said my new favourite deodorant isn’t intended for the Swiss market. According to our Category Business Manager, however, Nivea does sell an alternative in Switzerland:
Ninety-six hours of protection. Ninety-six hours! If you ask me, that’s almost aggressive. Sounds like it’d help me save on my water bill. Either way, you can still get both versions of the stick on Galaxus for now.
Since my luck with deodorants has always been shaky, I have the foresight to ask a selfish question: which deodorant would you recommend next?
At Galaxus, you’ll find over 80,000 beauty products – and more are on the way. That’s quite the picking. And why I like to regularly share my favourites – from a selection of both novelties and classics.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
