Training at home: fitness bloggers use these machines.

On Instagram I took a look at the page of fitness queens Kayla Itsines, Sophia Thiel, Emily Skye and Karina Irby. I've rounded up the equipment you need to do full body workouts at home - a few sample exercises are included.
Tool no. 1: your body
You already have the most effective tool for many exercises: your body! Female bloggers train a lot with their own body weight, as with most ab exercises, burpees, mountain climbers or push-ups. Only a gym mat can be useful to provide a soft surface.

Any additional fitness equipment helps to diversify your routine and increase the level of difficulty of standard exercises. I've rounded up some of Kayla and co.'s favourite little pieces of fitness equipment to work out on.
Tool #2: the massage roller
Discreet, small and lightweight: one of the bloggers' favourite tools is the Blackroll. Kayla Itsines and Sophia Thiel mainly use the roller to relax and stretch muscles, and for leg and gluteal training.
Use #3: weights
Dumbbells and Kettelbells don't have to be missing from your equipment either! Bloggers mainly use them to increase the difficulty level of standard exercises like lunges, squats or crunches. Emily Skye did a 25-minute full-body workout: all you need are dumbbells and a Kettlebell.
Tool no. 4: the fitness band
The fitness band is Karina Irby's favourite tool. In her "The Bandbook" she presents a series of exercises that are only done with these bands.
Utility no. 5: the weightlifting bench
The weightlifting bench is very versatile. It is, for example, ideal for targeted arm muscle training or for performing leg exercises such as benchhops or jumps (as Kayla Itsines shows in the video).
More useful fitness accessories
Aside from the tools listed, other accessories are used by bloggers. The skipping rope is perfect for small endurance units, weighted bands to increase the level of difficulty and make the exercise even more effective. When weights or dumbbells come into play, fitness gloves offer more grip and protect your hands.
Now it's your turn. Some workouts can be found for free on YouTube channels. For the whole programme, you usually need to subscribe.
