The best male hair removal methods to say goodbye to body hair this summer

Overgrown fleeces are out of fashion. Trimmed, clipped, shaved or depilated, there's something for everyone. We set out to discover the best methods for removing hair from the back, chest and intimate areas.
The trend is clearly towards hairless skin; many men find their waxed bodies more aesthetically pleasing. Even the intimate area is escaping the blows of the blade less and less. This article shows you what hair removal methods there are, their advantages and disadvantages.
Trimming and trimming methods
The clippers
The Philips Bodygroom has been specially designed for trimming and trimming body hair, so it meets all needs. Its cutting levels and head allow you to work on both long and short hair simultaneously. It's the perfect accompaniment to your summer holidays.
Beard & hair trimmers
The Multigroomer usually comes with more heads than the Bodygroomer, making it even more versatile, as it can also be used to shorten hair.
Long-term full hair removal methods
The IPL method
With "Intense Pulsed Light", hair is removed naturally using light pulses or flashes. Its use depends on your skin type. Melanin (the substance that gives skin its colour) carries the light pulses into the hair, where they are transformed into light energy. This heat is then transmitted to the hair root, prompting the hair follicle to enter a resting phase. The hair falls out naturally and the growth cycle is interrupted. The skin remains hairless over the long term, but not forever. The process must be repeated after a few months.
Benefits: IPL was developed from the laser hair removal method. While the latter removes hair one by one, IPL treats several simultaneously. The treatment is quicker and less unpleasant.
Disadvantages: This method is not suitable for all hair and skin types.
Short-term complete hair removal methods
The depilatory cream
Depilatory cream is easy to use: you simply apply it, leave it to work, then remove it. It weakens the hair from the inside and destroys its structure. The bonds between the keratin fibres are broken and the hairs detach from their roots.
Advantages:
Application and application time only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
Disadvantages:
This is a chemical process to which sensitive skin may react. The cream also gives off an unpleasant odour that perfumes struggle to completely camouflage. The hair is removed, but the root remains. The operation must therefore be repeated after a few days.

Veet Hair Removal Cream
200 ml, 1 x, 240 g
Shaving
A great classic! The blade cuts unwanted hair directly at the root.
Benefits:
This classic method is painless, easy and quick in the shower.
Disadvantages:
Beware of cuts and irritation if you're not careful.
