Quite quirky: the one-shoulder backpack is back
Better safe than sorry? Emma Chamberlain sees it differently. The influencer brought back the asymmetric rucksack with just one shoulder strap at the Coachella Festival.
It hardly counts as news when someone from Generation Z recycles a trend from the 1990s or early 2000s. Nevertheless, I don't want to leave this one festival accessory by YouTube star Emma Chamberlain unmentioned. For nostalgic reasons - and because our open-air season can only benefit from it.
Indio, Coachella Valley, California. Here, on the edge of the 40,000 square kilometre Colorado Desert, tens of thousands of people crowd around stages, Ferris wheels and art installations for two weekends a year. Emma Chamberlain was there this year ... well, maybe not in the centre of it all, but certainly in a comfortably equipped VIP area. And she posted photos from there.

Does the star of this post - clearly the one-shoulder backpack - look familiar? Then you're probably Generation Y and have already carried one of these around with you.
In the 2.0 version, the accessory of the moment (also known as a body bag or sling bag, by the way) can be shouldered around the front, replacing the cross-body bag that has bravely held its own until now. Let the festival season begin - hands-free.
