What could be better on Halloween than getting spooked together? Simon and I scare our way through four new and old horror games. From "Five Nights at Freddy's" to "Luigi's Mansion", there's something for everyone.

Have you locked your front door, closed the windows and made sure there's no monster hiding in your wardrobe? Perfect. Then you're ready to join Simon and me on our spooky adventure. We're streaming four horror games from 17:00 to 20:00, just in time for Halloween. Okay, one of them is probably only scary for the namesake himself. Depending on how we get on, we'll let the live chat determine a fifth game.

The procedure is as follows. The times are to be taken with a pinch of salt:

  • 17:00-17:45 "Luigi's Mansion 3"
  • 17:50-18:30 "Five Nights at Freddy's"
  • 18:35-19:00 "Blair Witch"
  • 19:05-20:00 "Friday the 13th"

"Luigi's Mansion 3"

In "Luigi's Mansion 3", we have to free an old luxury hotel from numerous ghosts as the frightened Luigi. It's a mixture of ghost-catching action and smaller puzzles.

"Five Nights at Freddy's"

Then we take over the night shift in "Five Nights at Freddy's". The aim is to survive the night in one piece and not get stabbed by the murderous teddy bears and other animatronics. To do this, we control doors, floodlights and cameras while the game tries to keep us calm with jumpscares. Let's see if it succeeds.

"Blair Witch"

After that, things get spooky. "Blair Witch" is set in 1996, two years after the events of the cult film. As an ex-cop, we help in a search for a missing boy in the infamous Black Hills. But we find something completely different in the process...

"Friday the 13th"

The final game is the asymmetrical multiplayer game "Friday the 13th". In it, you play either the psycho killer Jason or one of up to seven camp leaders. As Jason, your goal is to assassinate as many leaders as possible and as a leader, you try to escape the horror camp or perhaps even defeat Jason.

We stream every Wednesday on Youtube. Also check out our Discord channel.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
