DIY: Minion-style headphone storage

Yes, yes, the Minions from the "I, Simply Incorrigible" film universe. They are everywhere and yet nowhere when you need them. However, I was able to create two helping specimens myself.
I admit that I can only tolerate a limited number of Minions in my field of vision - unfortunately, omnipresence is counterproductive for me. But that won't stop me from going to the cinema to see the third part of "I, Simply Incorrigible", which opens today. After all, I'm not allowed to punish the cinema operators for the relentless licence sales and the merchandising from Universal Studios that goes with them. So I looked for a way of not having to spend money to share my love of the Minions with the world. And lo and behold: these little helpers are super easy to make yourself and also serve a good purpose: storing your headphones and thus saving your nerves! After all, hateful cable untangling sessions are a thing of the past.
What you need for this:
- Surprise eggs
- Adhesive tape
- Waterproof felt-tip pen, black
- grey felt fabric
- movable craft eyes
- second glue
- Scissors
- Nail varnish, blue

And this is how it's done:
Step 1: Stuff yourself with as much eggy chocolate as you can er need and work your way to the precious yellow centre. That's what we're going to work with.
Step 2: Open the yellow containers and play a round with the contents. When you're ready (don't get stressed!), you can brush the lower, narrower part of the two-part container with blue nail polish. In terms of colour, I opted for the nail polish from essence in the colour "79 blue, so true". This comes pretty close to the original colour of the Minions trousers. You need two coats in total so that the colour covers the yellow well. Then allow to dry thoroughly between the two coats.

Step 3: Now it's time for the black band around the head. So that this doesn't end in disaster, I pinned my ribbon with adhesive tape so that only a narrow strip remains open, which I then coloured in with the waterproof felt-tip pen. Please make sure that the glue is firmly attached at this point, otherwise the colour from the felt-tip pen may flow under the tape. After colouring, allow to dry briefly and then remove the adhesive strips.

Step 4: Now all that's missing are the eyes. To do this, use superglue to glue the purchased movable googly eyes to a piece of grey felt fabric and cut them out so that about three millimetres of grey fabric protrudes around the eye. This will later look like the frame of the glasses.

Step 5: Now glue the cut-out felt pieces to the centre front of the painted ribbon. Your own Minion is ready. And by the way, it can also be used as a pillbox.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
