If Sporty Spice were going to a rave, she’d probably be dressed like influencer Daisy Birchall. I’m talking silver sports glasses, a chunky knit mesh top, Bermuda shorts, white socks and a pair of sneakers. This sheer top and bralette combo is a great example of an interesting layered look fit for summer. You can stick to muted colours like Daisy or add a colourful accent with a bright bralette. For example, in the colour of the moment, red.

Slightly longer Bermuda pants are a superb alternative to conventional shorts. They still let your legs catch some sun, but prevent your thighs from sticking to the chair. Daisy’s wearing New Balance 990 sneakers – the quintessential dad sneaker, according to Sneakerness co-founder Sergio Muster. Unfortunately, this exact model is now only available in larger sizes. But the 2002R model is a great alternative. It has a similar shape, is also made of suede and is available in similar colour schemes.
