iOS Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks

  • You are responsible for advancing our mobile apps (Digitec & Galaxus) and have room for creative ideas to make our customers' mobile shopping experience more consistent.
  • You work hands-on in the conception, implementation, testing, and release of smart native features.
  • You take ownership of the entire app cycle and continuously enhance the quality of our apps by addressing issues and planning and executing refactoring efforts.
  • In the team, you collectively shape the agile process, emphasizing small tasks with short iterations and maximum customer value.
  • You support less experienced engineers in their daily work and actively share your knowledge within the team.
  • As a team player, you communicate openly, transparently, and comprehensibly. You gladly provide constructive feedback and are receptive to it as well.

Requirements

  • Higher education degree in computer science (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • You have recent experience working in mobile app development with native technologies (several years).
  • Your passion lies in iOS app development, and you are well-versed in the following topics: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Swift Concurrency, Swift Package Manager
  • You are open to work on an app which uses WebViews.
  • You are familiar with testing iOS apps (unit tests, UI tests, etc.).
  • You are well-acquainted with the principles of agile software development.
  • For this role, it is sufficient to speak English and to have the motivation to learn German with us on the job and with the support of our education programs.
