Nacre is what forms before the actual pearls are formed. Oysters and other molluscs produce it as a defence mechanism against foreign irritants. Sounds cool, doesn't it? Because of its white, porcelain-like appearance, some associate it with the moon and believe it has calming and protective properties. In other cultures, mother-of-pearl is associated with wisdom, creativity and luck.
This bracelet for men consists of an oval mother-of-pearl set in polished stainless steel for maximum protection. As it is a natural stone, the mother-of-pearl has subtle colour variations in each bracelet.
The black braided band comes in a classic design that allows the mother-of-pearl to take centre stage. The braided clasp can be securely fastened and is easily adjustable in size. Simply place one end on the ball of your hand and secure it with your middle finger, then pull the loose end as tight as you need it. The clasp has a stainless steel plate engraved with the Waykins logo.
