Product details

Tenuta Ulisse is one of the most dynamic wineries in Italy.

Degustation note: Intense ruby red, with aromas of cherries, plums, ripe black currants, and tobacco. On the palate, it has great structure, complex and opulent fruit, velvety tannins, and a persistent, long finish.

Vinification / Aging: 15% of the grapes are harvested when overripe, with maceration on the skins for 3 weeks, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 24 - 26° C and malolactic fermentation in barriques. Aging occurs for 9 - 12 months in French and American oak barriques.
