Finca Irlanda in Mexico is the oldest Demeter plantation in the tropics, and its coffee has always been a part of the Henauer range, making it the heart of Henauer. Demeter stands for a biologically-dynamic cultivation based on the agricultural ideas of Rudolf Steiner. Therefore, the coffee is free from pesticides or other chemical additives. With its medium to dark roast and an 8% Robusta content, we recommend preparing it as an espresso. Henauer coffee is one of the oldest roasteries in Switzerland. Siblings Philipp and Stefanie Henauer have been running the family business for four generations; coffee flows through their veins, so to speak. Henauer coffee was founded in 1896 by George Henauer in Winterthur, soon moving to Niederdörfli and then to Höri near Bülach in 1986.
