Calogen is a fat emulsion based on vegetable fats that allows you to easily and quickly enrich meals with more energy. Calogen is available in a neutral flavor variant, which is excellent for enriching savory dishes, such as cream soups, light sauces, and as a substitute for coffee cream. Calogen can be used in a variety of ways. The fat emulsion is based on vegetable fats and has a particularly high energy density (450 kcal per 100 ml). It is free from fiber, lactose, gluten, and milk protein. Due to its exceptionally high energy density, Calogen is the ideal solution when energy needs cannot be met with regular food or high-calorie liquid nutrition. This may occur, for example, in cases of prolonged loss of appetite or in illnesses that are associated with a significantly increased energy requirement.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, the recommended daily amount is 3 x 30 ml of Calogen per day. With this dosage, you will receive an additional 405 kcal. Calogen is a food for special medical purposes and should only be used under the supervision of a treating physician.
