The Pütter bandage is made of 100% pure cotton, which is why it can be stretched up to approx. 90%. It is suitable for very strong compression in, for example, current or chronic venous stasis edema, which requires frequent reapplication of the bandages. The strong fabric produces very strong compression with high working pressure at correspondingly lower resting pressure. The influence on decongestion is very great, as it also reaches the deep veins.
