Bauerfeind Stabilizing orthosis

After an acute injury, the AirLoc stabilizes the ankle joint in combination with a shoe and protects it from re-injury. Two anatomically shaped, padded plastic shells are elastically connected below the heel, allowing the orthosis to optimally adjust to the width of the foot. An inflatable air cushion in the outer shell allows the AirLoc to be individually adjusted to the swelling condition when putting it on. For fresh injuries to the ankle, it stabilizes in combination with a shoe and offers a soft, individually adjustable air cushioning.
