The UMS radial engine with 77ccm and 7 cylinders is a high quality glow ignition model engine for RC model aircraft with high demands. UMS has developed a series of five petrol engines and three glow ignition engines, so that the entire spectrum of the required types could be covered. Above all, the small-volume engines make it possible to motorise comparatively smaller scale models, especially warbirds, true to the original. The petrol engines are equipped with an electronic ignition system which is operated with a LiPo battery, petrol/oil mixture is used as fuel. The glow ignition engines are pre-heated with an external battery, standard methanol-based model fuel is used as fuel. All engines are supplied with a silencer.
