Anne, on the other hand, wants to be more to him than an unwelcome appendage. With patience and respect she tries to conquer his heart after all. But women are not welcome on board, Onedin and his first mate Mr Baines (Howard Lang) agree. However, Anne wins this trial of strength, and the two men actually go on a big ride.
With James she also married his family and they are more than complicated. Sister Isabel (Jessica Benton) throws herself from one affair into the next and thus always causes anger and suffering. Robert Onedin (Brian Rawlinson) on the other hand, loses almost his entire existence due to James' financial escapades.
