The gendarme of St. Tropez Louis de Funès Collection

The ambitious village policeman Ludovic Cruchot (Louis de Funès) is promoted and transferred to the Côte d'Azur in St. Tropez. The order fanatic intends to clean up the holiday resort and put an end to the prevailing crime and immorality. His main goal is to drive away the numerous nudist vacationers from the local beach. However, after achieving this, much bigger problems await the model policeman. His attractive daughter Nicole (Geneviève Grad) is increasingly misbehaving and runs off to the countryside with her new boyfriend in Cruchot's car.
