There are only a few advanced worlds, but numerous desolate wastelands and hostile death zones where meteorites, radiation, temperatures and gravity kill at every misstep. It is not possible to colonise our neighbouring galaxy Andromeda, as even light-fast spaceships would need 2.5 million years for this journey. A problem that has been solved by an unknown species invading the Milky Way.
