Millennium Mephisto Phoenix

The Mephisto Phoenix is a UCI-based multi-engine chess computer that consists of a tournament-sized chessboard measuring 55 x 55 cm and a computer module that provides access to a wide variety of chess play. With Shredder Neuronal and Stockfish NNUE, it is the world's first chess computer to utilize cutting-edge neural engine technologies. The module features a large color touchscreen made of real glass in a modern design. Together with the well-structured touch menu system, it serves as the perfect home station for chess enthusiasts of all ages, skill levels, and experience.

The Phoenix includes four different top engines: Shredder 13.5, Komodo 14.1, Hiarcs 14.2, and Stockfish 15 NNUE. The system achieves a playing strength of up to 3400 ELO but is also suitable for absolute chess beginners. There are countless options to adjust the playing strength to meet individual needs. The system covers the widest range of playing strengths ever offered by a chess computer.

A highly interesting new feature is provided by Shredder with fully automatic adaptation of playing strength and ELO rating. This way, you can continuously track your progress and see how much you have improved through training with the computer. The evaluation bar next to the chessboard gives you an instant overview of how the engine assesses the position. This allows you to quickly notice mistakes and always have a sense of how well you are doing.

The Mephisto tournament-sized chessboard is a very flat sensor board with move indication through 81 individual field LEDs, as well as extremely comfortable fully automatic piece recognition. It comes with elegant handcrafted premium chess pieces made of real wood, each with an integrated RFID chip.
