Prototype: IC2 double-deck intermediate car DApza 687.2, 1st class, of Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) for long-distance travel. Light gray long-distance color scheme with traffic red decorative stripe, in the current IC design. Train service: IC 2045 from Cologne to Dresden Hbf. Car order number 5. Operational status 2020. Model: Minimum curve radius of 360 mm. With high entry over the bogies. Standardly equipped with built-in LED interior lighting on both levels. Normal short coupling head on the locomotive side, with powered, separable short coupling on the train connection side. Illuminated longitudinal destination displays. Interior lighting only works in conjunction with the double-deck control car and can be switched on and off digitally via a decoder in the control car. A defined vehicle sequence is required for this. End red transparent tail light inserts at the ends of the cars. Prototype-compatible bogies of the Görlitz type, with attached folding steps. Length over buffers 28.6 cm. The matching electric locomotive of the series 146.5 can also be found in the Märklin H0 range under item number 37449, to form a prototypical 6-part train unit with the double-deck cars 43486, 43487, 43488, 43489, and 43490. Traversing curved ramp sections may only be possible after appropriate modification of these ramps. This model is also available in DC version in the Trix H0 range under item number 23253.
