GoKi is committed to nature by donating a new forest every year to the forest-poorest state of Schleswig-Holstein – a tree is planted for every newborn child. Since 2004, more than 400,000 beech, oak, and maple trees have been planted. Only wood from sustainable European forestry is used, and GoKi is working to produce as many products as possible in a circular manner, meaning cradle-to-cradle.

The company is also socially committed worldwide, establishing schools in developing countries where children are given the opportunity for education. It goes without saying that no GoKi toy is made by children: "We make toys for children, not by children."

In GoKi's own factory in China, Western standards regarding occupational safety and security are upheld. Toys should be fun and safe. To ensure the highest safety standards, the team in GoKi's quality management constantly tests all products in their in-house laboratory. External testing institutes also regularly examine GoKi products through extensive tests.

GoKi was awarded the German Sustainability Prize 2024 as the first toy company. The jury particularly honors the company's long-standing commitment to reforestation and its social engagement.
