Adios Buenos Aires

Argentina 2001: Julio Färber (Diego Cremonesi), the owner of a small shoe store in Buenos Aires and a passionate bandoneon player in a tango orchestra, sees no other way out amid the pervasive economic crisis and political chaos than to emigrate to Germany, his mother's homeland. However, fate takes an unexpected turn. After a car accident, he meets Mariela (Marina Bellati). The spirited taxi driver initially gets on his nerves but soon sneaks into his heart along with her son Pablito. With Ricardo Tortorella (Mario Alarcón), the elderly yet still enchanting tango icon of yesteryear, Julio's tango band finds a new voice and nearly returns to its former glory. Is Julio really willing to give all this up for a financially secure life in Europe, where no one is as passionate about tango and love?.
