Application area
For high-quality surface protection on wood and metal in indoor and outdoor areas such as doors, windows, chairs, cabinets, furniture, railings, paneling, and soffits, etc.
Pre-treatment
The substrate must be clean, dry (not over 15% wood moisture), and free from sanding dust, oil, wax, and other contaminants. Old coatings should be sanded or treated with a cleaning powder. An intermediate sanding with grain 180−220 can be performed. Do not apply below 8 °C.
Drying
♦ Dust dry after approximately 3 hours
♦ Touch dry after approximately 6 hours
♦ Reworkable after 12 hours
♦ Fully cured after 1−2 days
(depending on temperature, humidity, and film thickness).
6. Knuchel Acrylic varnish Blenda-Cryl
Blenda-Cryl is a low-emission, water-dilutable, and low-odor polyurethane-acrylic paint. It forms a highly weather-resistant and permanently elastic coating film that does not peel or crack with the appropriate application structure. Blenda-Cryl is breathable, water- and chemical-resistant, combined with very high lightfastness, chalking resistance, and color stability. After drying at temperatures between 20-40°C, Blenda-Cryl exhibits good block resistance. It adheres excellently to wood, mineral substrates, various plastics, and sound old coatings.
Pre-treatment: The substrate must be clean and stable. Sand down old coatings or treat them with a cleaning powder. Do not apply below 8°C, in direct sunlight, or under extreme humidity.
