Product details
Efficient trapping of voles without prior knowledge. Innovative, transparent tunnel security. Discreetly visible trapping success indicated by the retracted handle. Baiting possible. High striking power, robust and durable. Easy to set up, quickly ready for use, and safe to handle.
The Predator vole trap from Windhager offers quick assistance against voles. It is easy to handle thanks to the innovative tunnel security made of Plexiglas, quickly ready for use, and safer than conventional models. As soon as the vole brushes against the fork, the trap snaps shut, which is clearly indicated by the retracted handle of the striking bar.
Instructions:
1. Probe into the mounded earth hills or grassy folds with a probing stick. If the stick sinks abruptly, you have found a tunnel.
2. Place several marking flags (sold separately) and seal all holes. Later, check the position of the flags. Wherever they have fallen over, there is a frequently used tunnel.
3. Loosen a patch of grass with a hole punch (sold separately) and place the tunnel 1-2 cm deeper in the direction of the tunnel in the ground. The transparent tunnel prevents the trap from being buried in soil.
4. Place bait in the hole.
5. Insert the vole trap into the upper hole of the tunnel cutout and activate the trap by pulling out the red handle (striking bar). Cover the transparent tunnel with grass and soil.
6. Check the trap twice daily. Success is indicated by the retracted striking bar.
