High-performance surface grinding discs feature a highly porous bond system that reduces thermal load and minimizes dressing diamond wear. These discs can be used universally in the pendulum grinding process, resulting in significantly fewer disc changes during daily operations. They are compatible with all commercially available grinding machines in mould, tool, and machine construction, such as Jung, ABA, Blohm, Elb, Mägerle, Ziersch & Baltrusch, Geibel & Hotz, and Jones & Shipman. Cooling with emulsion is required, so ensure good cooling lubrication for long-chipping materials. The specially treated aluminium oxide is designed for machining unalloyed and low-alloyed, unhardened steels.
