The mechanical tubular motor Standard with 15 Nm is designed to motorize a roller shutter with an area of up to 6.2 m² and a weight of 25 kg. It is intended for the Maxi roller shutter system and is directly installed in the octagonal shaft with a diameter of 60 mm. The end positions are adjusted mechanically with an adjustment pin after installation. The quiet-running tubular motor Standard features a strong, low-wear brake as well as a maintenance-free motor with a high-quality gearbox equipped with sintered gears. An extra-wide coupling compensates for an unevenly cut roller shutter shaft, and the special size of the adapter ensures optimal power transmission to the roller shutter shaft. A thermal overload protection feature turns off the motor in case of overheating, thus protecting the motor. A separate control unit is required to operate the tubular motor Standard. Suitable options include the Schellenberg roller shutter switches or the Schellenberg timers. Controlling multiple roller shutter motors can be achieved by using a relay. For installation in the roller shutter box, an adjustable wall bracket is included in the delivery. The power supply is provided via a four-wire connection cable with a length of 2 m. With the tubular motor Standard, you have the option to retrofit a radio control system at a later time. For this, you will need a Schellenberg radio roller shutter switch or a Schellenberg radio receiver module. The radio control allows you to operate the motor remotely, using a Schellenberg radio remote control or a Schellenberg radio timer. After retrofitting with radio control, the tubular motor Standard can be integrated into a compatible Smart Home system from Smart Friends or Schellenberg.
