Safety and warning notices

This device can measure potentially lethal voltages. Special caution is required when measuring voltages above 42 V. Wear safety gloves to protect against electric shocks. When connecting the test probes, ensure that your fingers are behind the slip guard. Do not take measurements if the device or test leads are damaged. Damaged test leads must be replaced with original test leads. Use the device only indoors and protect it from dripping and splashing water, high humidity, and heat (permissible operating temperature range 0 - 40 °C). Remove batteries or accumulators if the device will not be used for an extended period. This will protect the device from damage in the event of battery leakage.
