Fränkische Press Ring Seal Kabu-Seal 75/125: Additional Details
Kabu-Seal is a pipe seal made of a solid rubber core with a soft thermoset elastomer coating in yellow and stainless steel press flanges. The seal is used for gas and pressure water-tight building entry of Kabuflex® R plus pipes. The advantage lies in the soft surface, which creates a seal against the cable protection pipe and the core drilling up to 1.5 bar water pressure. Due to its very good adhesion properties, the Kabu-Seal press ring sealing insert sits securely against pressing water and gas in the annular space even at a very low tightening torque (2 Nm). Installation can be successfully carried out without special tools (torque wrench) using visual contact indication (yellow bead) at the edges of the press flanges.
